The Zombie – Wicked Cocktails

Summer means tiki time, and at the Wickman House in Ellison Bay, that means the Zombie is back on the cocktail menu in full force. In this week’s video Mike Holmes, owner and bartender at Wickman House, shows you how to make one of his favorite rum cocktails, and if you want to give it a shot at home, here’s the recipe for a great sunset drink after a day on the beach.

The Zombie

3/4 oz simple syrup
1/2 oz lime juice
1/2 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz orange
1/2 oz grenadine
3/4 oz passion fruit puree
1 1/2 oz dark rum
1 1/2 oz light rum
brandy cherry

Pour all of your ingredients into your shaker and add ice. Shake vigorously, then strain into a tiki glass with a hawthorne strainer. Top it with more crushed ice. Garnish with an orange slice and a brandy cherry, and finally an umbrella. Then enjoy!
